Vicki and I were "little kids" together... At the time, my dad was in the furniture business and so was Vicki's dad. She, her sister Barbara, my brother and I were buddies way back in the pre-school years. Strangely, those happy times are what I remember most about her. It's with a great deal of sadness that I'm including Vicki's obituarry from the Idahonian.. Bill Sever
 

The following obituary was found in the Thursday, May 24, 1973 issue of the Idahonian.

May 24, 1973

Victoria Marie Charles, 26, died early this morning of an apparent overdose of seconal, according to a report from the Moscow Police Department. She died in a Moscow ambulance en route to Spokane.

The Moscow police were notified about 7:30pm that the woman had taken the pills. The call came from her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Meyers.

She was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Moscow, where she grew up and went to school. She was a member of the Buddhist religion.

She is survived by her parents; a daughter, Ammie, and a sister Barbara Butler, all of Moscow, and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Severt Twiton of Post Falls.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2pm at the Moscow cemetery. The Rev. Robert Beveridge is to officiate. Short's Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
