We are looking forward to seeing so many of you at our 60th reunion. Life has been good for us. I am now blessed to be 9.5 years post bone marrow transplant to create a new immune system following detection of Acute Myeloid Leukemia in October 2014. My donor was a then 21-year-old man from North Central Germany. We have been blessed to thank him and his family 3 different times in person: twice in Germany and hosting him and has now wife here in Redmond, WA. Our plans are to visit them in Germany next year to meet their daughter Charlott who was born last April. We enjoy routine contact with our children and their families. Our Daughter Heidi Snell, Husband Mark and their 8 year old Hudson live in West Seattle and our Son Mark, wife Darci and Ethan 14 and Logan 10 live is Spokane. |

Following graduation from Moscow High, I attended the University of Idaho and received degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business. This led to an initial career job as an Engineer and Operations Manager for Atlantic Richfield Hanford Company in Richland, WA. In Richland, I met my wife Judy, a WSU graduate, completed a MBA degree and our daughter Heidi was born. In 1976 I began a 30+ year career with Exxon Nuclear/Siemens Power Corporation managing large accounts for US utilities that generate electricity. We were transferred to company headquarters in Bellevue, WA in 1979 and our son Mark was born in 1982. Until retirement, I was responsible for business development and large account management for utilities in Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Judy retired after a 20+year teaching career at Bellevue Christian School. In retirement we spend 7 months/year in our Redmond, WA primary home and 5 months/year in our La Quinta, CA (Palm Springs Valley) snowbird home. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. |
