Kirby James 58, New Mexico resident dies

Kirby Allen James passed away Jan. 8 at Alamagordo, N.M. from cancer. he was 58.

He leaves a son, Kenneth Sverre James of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Karen Lee Batroukh of Vancouver, Wash.; his mother, Katherine Lee James of Moscow. He was preceded in death by his father, W. Kenneth James.

Kirby attended the Moscow schools, graduating from the University of Idaho in business, and he was a Vietnam veteran.

A private memorial will take place later this year.
